When it comes to creating unforgettable, educational, and fun experiences for children, no one does it better than Mr Bottle’s Kids Party. Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to organize a Kids@Work event with a strong focus on financial literacy, making learning about money fun and interactive for children of all ages.
From creative workshops to thrilling carnival games, the event was packed with activities that blended play-based learning and hands-on experiences—all while reinforcing essential money management skills.
A Unique Approach to Financial Education for Kids

At Mr Bottle’s Kids Party, we believe that financial literacy should be fun, engaging, and age-appropriate. That’s why our event incorporated exciting activities designed to help kids understand money in a real-world context while keeping them entertained. In other words, there are stations which allow them to earn and use cash. Since the company’s business was in digital payments, we used NFC wristbands to keep track of all the digital money.
Here are some highlights of the event:
1. Hands-On Creativity: DIY Coin Banks Painting

Since the attendees included children as young as 2 years old, we provided interactive craft stations where kids could paint their own coin banks. This simple yet effective activity reinforced the importance of saving money while encouraging creativity and self-expression.
2. Interactive Live Food Stations

One of the biggest highlights was the live food booth experience with all times favourites waffles, corn cup, traditional ice cream, and more, where kids used virtual currency to purchase their snacks. This hands-on activity taught them about:
✅ Decision-making when it comes to spending money
✅ Budgeting and understanding the value of money
✅ How transactions work in real life
3. Arcade & Gamification – Turning Finance into Play

Children could also spend their virtual cash at the arcade zone, featuring thrilling claw machines, racing games and fun activities. The goal? To teach the importance of financial decisions in an engaging and exciting way!
4. Bouncy Castle & Ball Pit – Fun for the Youngest Participants

Understanding that financial education should be inclusive, we set up a bouncy castle and ball pit for younger children. This allowed the little ones to enjoy active playtime, making the event fun for the entire family.
5. Gamifying Financial Literacy for kids

One of the highlights of the event was our financial literacy booths in which children learn about:
- Profit and loss – Compare and understand which person makes the most money.
- Bank – Learn about the importance of saving.
- Stock Exchange – Learn about risks when investing in different items.
- Marketing Opportunity stations – Match the right business with the correct opportunity.
- Entrepreneurship Academy stations – learn about the different
6. Scam Alert! Learning Financial Safety the Fun Way
One of the most unique and exciting aspects of the event was the “Scammer on the Loose” game. A role-playing character roamed around, attempting to steal virtual money from participants. This interactive game helped kids understand:
⚠️ The importance of protecting their finances
⚠️ How to be vigilant against fraud
⚠️ Why they should think before sharing personal or financial information
7. Financial-Themed Magic Workshop

Imagine learning about money management through learning mind-blowing magic tricks! Our magician captivated the audience with a financial literacy magic workshop, where tricks illustrated essential money concepts like savings, investment, and wise spending.
8. Carnival Games with a Financial Twist

What’s a kids’ event without carnival games? We designed fun carnival-style games where children could use their virtual currency to “invest” in playing and winning prizes. This taught valuable lessons on:
🎯 Risk vs. reward
🎯 Smart spending vs. impulse decisions
🎯 Probability and strategic thinking
9. Financial-Themed Talks and CSR Sharing
We always believe educational portion is also as important as fun for he Kids@work events.
Guest speakers from corporate partners share insights on financial responsibility and corporate social responsibility (CSR), providing both kids and parents with valuable lessons in giving back and making smart financial choices.
10. Grand Finale: Magic Show by Mr Bottle & Magic Showcase

The event concludes with a magic showcase where kids get to show off their newfound magical (and financial) skills, followed by a spectacular magic show by Mr Bottle!
