This event captivated attendees with a series of enchanting bubble shows, interactive bubble workshops, free-play bubble stations and family-friendly activities, making it a highlight of the festive season.
A Magical Transformation – From Quiet to Buzzing
Typically a quieter mall on weekends, Changi City Point was packed with excited families and children, turning it into a lively, bustling hub of activity. Shoppers and visitors who came for the Bubble Fiesta ended up exploring the mall’s stores, creating a surge in foot traffic and an energetic atmosphere rarely seen before.
Event Highlights of our Bubble Event
🌟 Spectacular Bubble Shows
International bubble artists amazed crowds with dazzling bubble tricks, turning ordinary soap bubbles into extraordinary works of art.
- Mr Bottle’s Kids Party curated 3 different bubble artists, each with a different style and focus, so there is enough differentiation and reason for the shoppers to come back again and again.
- Jay, the bubble artist – He incorporated balloon twisting as well as digital performance to create a one-of-a-kind bubble show
- CJ, the bubble artist – CJ is an experienced bubble artist, focusing on pure bubble effects.
- Mr Bottle, the magician – He created a show using bubbles to incorporate magic (at the mall’s request). One of the highlights of his show was asking a kid to look into a bubble and wish for anything he/she wanted. Guess what, Mr Bottle made their wishes come true!
- Different bubble artists performed on different days, creating families to come back again and again. They also brought in friends on other days, creating more buzz for the event.
👨👩👧👦 Bubble Play Area
Mr Bottle’s Kids Party created different bubble play stations so children can have creative and free play when there is no bubble workshop or shows. (A good mall event organiser knows that there is a need to have a mix of free activities and those with redemption for quieter malls.)
We placed a great deal of emphasis on safety, so we studied the types of carpets suitable and used the one that could withstand more than one week of residue accumulation from the bubble solution.
In addition, we worked directly with the cleaners at the mall to ensure any spills by the children to an area outside our designated play area are cordoned off immediately and cleaned up as soon as possible.
🎨 Hands-On Workshops
We created various educational workshops that are exclusive to shoppers. We work with the mall on a reasonable redemption programme that is achievable for shoppers, ensuring that all the slots are full yet able to accommodate almost all redemptions. This increases the happiness index of the shoppers.
All the workshops last an hour, so this is enough time for mummies who want to have a chill time or do some shopping.
- Kids learned the secrets and science of creating “super” bubbles which don’t burst easily, sparking curiosity and creativity.
- Children created bubble art by blowing bubbles on their canvas.
- Since the event is near Christmas, we also have a Christmas themed bubble wand making.
👨👩👧👦 Family-Friendly Fun
With an array of engaging activities, the event provided quality bonding time, making it a must-visit attraction for families.
We had bubble showers at regular intervals and this was one of the highlights that pulled people into the mall.
A Visual Attention to Details
Bubble themed Tables
We could have just used generic kiddy tables and chairs to save money. Instead, we worked with our designers from scratch to create these bubble-themed tables
- Aesthetically great looking, in the theme of bubbles
- Functional – we can keep extra materials under the table.
- data-driven – We calculated the number of people we needed to accommodate, then coming up with the measurements to comfortably seat everyone.
- Practical design – Children need to share materials for workshops, so the oval shape allows them to be within reach, while having easy access to our facilitators.
Lab coats
We provided lab coats for all the workshop participants. They not only to protect the children’s clothing, but also create great pictures for the parents. They are more likely to share the photos with their friends, family and on social media, creating a viral marketing effect.
