In keeping up with the ever-changing landscape, the most recent restriction of gathering of 10 people has made Mr. Bottle’s Kids Party to change its strategy. The home-grown entertainment company recently rolled out a series of party and magic packages that can be downloaded with the click of a mouse!
Titled ‘Stay Home Party Packages’, this alternative is developed in view of the recent COVID-19 situation. A definitive alternative to time-honoured physical parties hosted in homes and or brick-and-mortar settings, the Stay Home Magic Packages promise families of sizes endless fun and laughter.
At the same time, the Stay Home Party Packages offer Mr Bottle’s Kids Party’s staff continued employment opportunities. By re-designing its range of services to cater to Singaporean families and marketing them through the variety of online channels available, the entertainment company has successfully re-invented its business model for scalability and viability. Using meeting applications like Zoom and Google Hangout, Mr Bottle’s Kids Party brings entertainment to a higher level.
These packages are not only for birthday parties, but also for people who are working from home.
“As a parent, I understand that it may be difficult to juggle between the two when I work from home. I certainly don’t want children to be on their iPads all the time. I tried these on my children and they love it so I want to do the same to help other parents too! Stay Home Dinosaur Party Package
Costing just $180 for 5 pax, parents can run their own dinosaur themed party at home for their own children. They can choose to redistribute to their friends so children can log in remotely for their party. This package includes:

Stay Home Magic Party Package
Mr Bottle makes use of his experience in working with kids as well as his children, to come up with a system to teach magic to very young children weaving in life values like generosity, respect and perseverance. This Magic Package is just $249.90 for 5 pax, which includes:

For the Stay Home Dinosaur Party Package, Mr Bottle’s Kids Party is tying up with fossils collectors to share their dinosaur collection remotely and to answer any questions which the children may have. “In the past, we could only do this for bigger events at the malls, but now this is opportunity to have this exclusivity at birthday parties.” Says Mr Wee.
“We do understand the need for government to restrict the numbers. We too want everyone to be safe and healthy. We just have to be creative to come up with something to fight for our survival. I believe we will emerge much stronger. Hopefully people will embrace this change and perhaps we can go global with these ideas.”
Chance to go digital
Since February, Mr Bottle’s Kids Party is already taking actions to prepare for a fallout from this virus. They made use of their strength in designing and economical off-site production (in Taiwan and China) as well as connectivity to the rest of the world (in Singapore) to sell their Customised DIY Décor kit to the whole world.
“We had plans to transform from just selling services to also selling products, our DIY Decor Packages, about 3 years ago. Doing this was not our priority because our teams are rather lean. Parties and events are our core business. This pandemic accelerated this plan to go online,” says Mr Wee.
Our theme for the company’s first quarter became “online”. Meaning that, they created more content online like Tik Tok, YouTube, etc and of course, going into e-commerce. Luckily, being small means that decisions can be made fast. They quickly set up our online stores, tested the pricing, adjusted to meet the global price and reacted to market demands.
In the matter of 1-2 weeks, the following were up and running:

- Facebook Marketplace
